Berry Waltz (2015)

This is my replacement animation experiment where I took photos of the same, but different berries and edited it to give it rhythm using sound and pacing.

 

Express Mail (2015)

This is another replacement animation experiment where I used sound to give it context. Unlike berries that are individual objects, the mailboxes are continuous and gave the animation a different illusion of motion.

 

Book Baking (2015)

This is another replacement animation experiment. Here unlike the berries, there are more differences than similarities between the book.

 

1023 (2015)

This is an individual project shot on film with a Bolex. Here I experimented with how a camera or the screen can be used to represent different space and how editing can move the audience through space and time which creates the illusion of magic.

 

ZAP (2015)

This is my first film shot with a Bolex. It is a group project where we wrote, acted, shot, and edited within two weeks.
